Hi, I’m Ian

As a UX & Product Designer, I’m driven by creativity, empathy, and a passion for solving real-world problems through design. I combine research, storytelling, and design thinking to craft intuitive experiences that not only look beautiful but also deliver meaningful impact.

My creative path began with a Bachelor in Fine Arts, grounding me in drawing, painting, and storytelling before I shifted into UX. Working as a freelance artist and mural painter gave me an eye for detail, composition, and the ability to bring abstract ideas to life — skills that now influence how I approach digital products with both creativity and structure.

I later transitioned into design, where I discovered how to channel my artistic skills into user-centered problem solving. Through user research, wireframing, and iterative testing, I learned to simplify complex problems into clear, intuitive interfaces that empower people in their everyday lives.

Outside of design, I continue to fuel my creativity through drawing, painting, and photography. I’m also inspired by nature and earth tones, which influence both my art and design style.
